WE LOVE OLGA!!

I have no idea how we stumbled across Olga stories, but we have thoroughly enjoyed reading through her adventures! I used this as a read-aloud to my 10yo son who loves animals and adventures. The chapters are short enough to read one or two a day before bedtime. This would also be a wonderful book for a good reading 8yo and up, to read alone or out loud. We had a great time reading it with loud squeeks....Wheeeeeeeee! lol! Honestly...we are SO SAD that we finished the book. Why is it that good books come to an end? I actually ordered a guinea pig puppet for him for Christmas. He undoubtly will name her Olga. He also named his wii, Olga! Good, clean reading...the way it should be for kids of all ages! There are a few plays on word spellings in the book, but not overdone and added some additional humor. Also a few historical events humorized....if you know the events, you will catch it, but if you don't it doesn't mess up the story at all or understanding of it. With them though, there are a few opportunities to discuss such events with your children if you are reading aloud. Highly recommend this book!

Such Memories!

This was the first book I ever read all the way through when I was about 8. Loved the stories and remember being so proud of myself for reading a book this big. I highly recommend this to everyone. Fantastic.

Childhood Favorite

My mother read all the Olga da Polga stories to my sister and I when we were little. We very much enjoyed hearing about all the capers of the little guinea pig with a big heart. I would recommend this series of stories to anyone of any age.
