Hindered by photo quality

This book consists of photos of a diaorama (fake rock, plastic trees, painted mountains) with plastic dinosaurs. The photo quality is surprisingly mediocre -- too dark and too bright in places, poorly lit in general. With more effort on lighting (e.g., use of multiple, diffuse light sources), this could be a much more pleasant book. Considering this book is all about the photos, it's too bad there was not more effort on the photo quality.

Great book for building concentration!

My 2 year old son LOVES all of Walter Wick's books. He "reads" them everyday. It really builds his concentration skills to look for the various items in the pictures. Even though he knows where everything is, he doesn't seem to tire of these books.

Board book

We love Walter Wick books and welcomed another one, however this is actually a board book and geared for much younger children and so was a bit of a disappointment. It's akin to the "I Spy" series. Rather than a poem and expertly disguised puzzles, this shows the objects you are to find, objects that are not hidden and fairly obvious in the pictures. Had the details section actually said "board book," I would have not purchased it.
