Good series, my son enjoys it

My son liked this one - it was a quick read for him, but he still reported he liked it. Legend of Skull Cliff was his favorite.

Intriguing mystery

My second graders enjoyed this book. I used the book with my top readers in a guided reading group. We would read in class and they would read for homework as well. I looked forward to our discussions each day over the nightly reading. The book was used in conjunction with a crime week so the mystery just enhanced the learning. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to read more and more told me it was a winner!

Fun and scarey together

My daughter and I love this group of books. She is working on improving her reading and we read out loud to each other. The vocabulary is perfect for a 4th grader just challenging enough to add some new words but not stopping us every sentence. It kept her on the edge of her seat and was just scarey enough to thrill her but I liked how all the scarey things were not so scarey in the last chapter. A good enough plot and characters to keep me interested and I read a lot of mystery books. We will cherish our time together with these books for a life time.
