Very interesting and well-written stories

I taught a reading intervention course for 6 - 8th graders, and these stories kept my students' interest. I used about one a week-- kids were generally interested in the topics, and not all stories had predictable endings. Well worth the money. Great collection.

Great Book!

I used these stories once-a-week for read-alouds. The students listened intently to these interesting stories for details as they looked forward to writing their own ending. Whether they worked in small group, pairs, or individually, they enjoyed sharing their predictions and eagerly anticipated the "true" ending from the story. Fiction Comprehension Cliffhangers is fun too.

Really great activity! Kids loved it!

I am a fifth grade teacher and used this at the end of the school year. The kids really liked it and I thought it was very handy to use, not a lot of prep time required. I look forward to using this again next year!
