Fun Poems to 'perform' or role play..

I teach the 4th grade and I use this book for students to 'perform' poetry. This book is small and doen not have a great many poems in it, but the ones it does have are cute and fun. The poems have a lot of action in them - making them peerfect for this lesson. Students had a lot of fun doing this activity too!

I know all the sounds the animals make

This review was written by my grade 2/3 student, Savannah.
I like the poem "I know all the sounds the animals make" because it is poetry and I like poetry.Its funny because the girl "roars" like a mouse and "squeaks" like a cat. I reccomend this book to people who really do know their animal sounds!!
